profile
I’m Prashidika Tiwari. Formally, I’ve worked across AI, research and backend systems. If I had to describe myself outside of job titles, I’d say I’m somewhere between a technical and creative person. I’ve found my peace in building things, understanding how they work, making them better, and sometimes just seeing an idea become something real.
I’m drawn to intelligent systems, especially the space around vision and language models. Over the years, I’ve worked on quite different kinds of problems: internal departmental systems, complex ERP platforms, multimodal systems, RL environments, model fine-tuning, and recommendation engines. The variety is something I value.
What ties my work together is a curiosity about how things work and the instinct to see how much further they can go. I enjoy taking on problems that challenge me, learning what I need to solve them, and turning that understanding into something useful. I want to keep working at the intersection of thoughtful engineering and intelligent systems, building things that are not only technically sound but genuinely worth building.

Selected Work
A personal opportunity system that uses LLM extraction, embeddings, and explainable ranking to match scholarships and fellowships to your profile.
A news-to-briefing pipeline that embeds RSS articles, clusters related stories with K-means, and asks an LLM to write a market note per cluster.
A workspace-based task manager that keeps personal lists and small-team work apart, with membership checks, assignments, and a notification when you are added.
A CLIP-style dual encoder trained on Flickr8k: ResNet-50 and DistilBERT mapped into one 256-d space with contrastive loss.
